File this one under “Be careful what you wish for.” Some states with conservative leaders might finally expand Medicaid to more of their residents – with the provision that they work as well. That’s actually a good deal, because it will bring health care to more low-income people … and expose the belief that hordes of able-bodied people are sitting around collecting government benefits.
