Morris County pharmacy to pay $309K over Medicaid probe

A Roxbury pharmacy has agreed to pay $309,000 over its failure to disclose a managing employee’s suspension from the New York State Medicaid program due to a criminal conviction, authorities said.

Valley Pharmacy, in the Succasunna section of the township, and its owner paid $300,000 to the Medicaid program along with $9,000 in interest after Medicaid Fraud Division investigators with the New Jersey Office of the State Comptroller found the pharmacy failed to disclose adverse information in its Medicaid application, the Office of the State Comptroller said in a news release.
