Several full-tuition scholarships are available for a teaching and leadership training program for dental educators and private practitioners interested in an academic career.
The ADA Council on Dental Education and Licensure is administering the scholarships to the Academy for Advancing Leadership’s Institute for Teaching and Learning as part of the American Dental Association’s commitment to supporting general dentist members who are interested in working in dental academia.
The four-day on-site program will take place July 29-Aug. 1 in Atlanta. The program includes class discussions, small-group projects, problem-solving exercises, observation and critique of teachers in action, self-directed coursework, peer feedback and presentations by institute scholars.
