Over the next few weeks, the CUPHD Child and Teen Dental Clinic will be visiting Unit 4 and District 116 schools to provide free dental exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments, and dental sealants to students who need them. Students who are uninsured, or on Medicaid or AllKids are eligible for the services.
The sealants are a big deal, because they go a long way in preventing cavities, and they last for years. A schedule of upcoming clinics can be found here.
Parents should complete a consent form, which can be found in English, Spanish, and French at the CUPHD website, by calling 217-531-4279, or by visiting the dental clinic at 201 West Kenyon Road
