A Detroit federal jury convicted the operator of an adult day care center and two home health care company owners in a $29 million Medicare fraud scheme, The Detroit Free Press reported on Thursday.
Felicar Williams, 51, Abdul Malik Al-Jumail, 54, and Jamella Al-Jumail, 25, were found guilty on Tuesday of billing Medicare for health services that weren’t provided, according to the U.S. Justice Department. The conviction came after a 12-week trial.
