Kernersville man accused in a nearly $5 million scheme to defraud North Carolina’s Medicaid program

A Kernersville man has pled guilty after he was accused in a nearly $5 million scheme to defraud the state’s Medicaid program.  According to Attorney General Josh Stein, the man owned and ran a clinic which provided outpatient services as part of the plea.  The man admitted to conspiring with others to submit fake claims.
