UC Blue Ash to host free dental care clinic

The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College will host its annual Community Dental Day on Friday, March 7 from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The event, which is hosted by the dental hygiene and expanded function dental assistant (EFDA) programs at the college, will be in the Dental Hygiene Clinic on the UC Blue Ash campus.

Community Dental Day was created in 2016 to help address the growing need for dental care among poor and underserved populations across the region. It is open to adults ages 18 years and older, with a particular focus on those who do not have dental care insurance.

This year, 12 local dentists and more than 15 dental care professionals will join faculty, staff and students from the college’s dental hygiene and EFDA programs to volunteer their time and expertise in providing free oral health exams and restorative dental care.
