United Concordia Companies has received a potential six-year, $3 billion contract from the Defense Health Agency to provide dental health services for Military Health System beneficiaries under the Tricare program.
The DHA’s managed care contracting division in Aurora, Colorado, will fund the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract using operations and maintenance funding for fiscal year 2024, the Department of Defense said Friday.
The vendor will provide dental care coverage and related services for uniformed service active duty personnel, Selected Reserve and Individual Ready Reserve members and their eligible family members under the IDIQ contract.
The performance period will kick off on Dec. 1 and run through Nov. 30, 2029.
