Arkansas woman given three years probation and $2,000 fine for $680 Medicaid fraud

A 36-year-old Heber Springs woman was given three years of probation and order to pay a fine and restitution for Medicaid fraud.

Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge announced Thursday that Jessica Eddy pleaded guilty to Medicaid fraud. She was ordered to serve three years probation and pay $2,041.20 in fines and $680.40 in restitution to the Arkansas Medicaid Program Trust Fund.

Eddy reportedly billed the Arkansas Medicaid Program for services that were not rendered, including two occasions while she was in jail.
